Last weekend, I managed to dine at the SM North EDSA's Skygarden for lunch. We were feeling kind of Kebab-ish, so good thing we came across Persia Grill, a very nice restaurant, with opulent ambiance, surrounded by some calming water features. Read more after the jump... You know you love it!
As I have mentioned, Persia Grill has this opulent ambiance that may intimidate food trippers to think that the food prices are uneconomical. This perception has always been the bane for restaurateurs who loves to attract the lower-end market but fail to recognize that first impression is important to attract this specific market segment. Yet, I love the interior design of the restaurant. See some photos I took below...
There are many more interior decor eye candies, but I was not able to take photos of them as customers populate the place one by one.
Might we suggest the best seats in the house. These two locations are on the farthest right of the restaurant from the entrance.
I am just loving those purple and green upholstery. As for the ambiance of the place, taking into account that Persia Grill is surrounded by a pond, I give them 5 out of 5 cupcakes.
Now, lets move on with the food. As a fan of Persian food, I am telling you now that they have one of the best Shawarma and Chicken Biryani I have tasted.
The taste is just right, comparable to the delightful Kebabs which is along West Avenue and Matalino street. The bitterness and spiciness of the Biryani is subdued by the yogurt dressed Balsamic salad. Cost: PHP 225 and PHP 70 for the Biryani and Shawarma, respectively. I just loved the food. I give it 4 out of 5 cupcakes.
To top it all off, the best part is that I ate here with someone I love. See, he even made some dedication in the pita bread using the garlic sauce. Love it!
Truevali recommends you to eat here at Persia Grill @ Skygarden. Besides the fact that it has perfect ambiance, come rain or shine, it also delivers on great tasting food and service.
See: Much Punch!
