While i was so busy at home sleeping the lazy afternoon away post-toxicity mondays, i got an sms from M for lala nights anywhere tonight, as in asap. I realized the gravity of the spontaneous act, M must need a friend tonight. So i got up and wore something with a vest, which i hate, and patiently waited for M's blue auto.
Anywho, we would've wanted to BI ferl to come with, but i influenced him yesterday to not go to work. So we called everyone else, but as usual, the nocturnals have work to do. Though we would've wanted to eat at Eastwood Mall to check out the place, since i have not been there yet. But L was unavail due to a meeting and is such a party-pooper. hehe...
So we ended up in The gardens at Trinoma. We wanted to eat at an upper level place so we decided to check out Casa Armas, a Spanish restaurant located near the exit at Calvin Klein. At first, we thought it was so Antonio's with entrees at 1000+ per plate but it turned out that there are murayta levels on the menu. And it was actually cheaper than Cyma. The 1000 levels are the Paellas.
M ordered the Garlic Chicken and I ordered the Cubed Chicken with ethcos. Believe you me, the menu read more up-there in Spanish than in English. Below is a photo of the garlic chicken. Photo Courtesy of Gem.

Our meal was just okay, nothing wow about it, maybe we should have splurged and ordered the 1000 peso Paellas. Also, the interiors of Trinoma Casa Armas is also so-so, as compared to its neighbors. All in all, Casa Armas is a so-so restaurant, the only perk is that you shall be surrounded with equally up-there people, who are possibly qualified clients.
After the mega-Lala, we decided to watch a movie instead. We picked "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", since its just only showing here in Manille. And even though, i would love to see it again, M and I cannot do with the 2 hours and 45 minutes running time of the movie.
So we decided to eat desserts, true Lala nights style. We chose Cafe Breton and sat al fresco, since M is a huff-puff addict. We then ordered light, some mocha shake icings for me and cafe ole for M and shared the La Pinay Crepe, see photo below. photo courtesy of boxx_120.

We talked about the pending issues over coffee and crepes while people watching. M will retell you guys daw all. He advised me as well that he is just so swamped with everything, but he regularly reads our emails. So he is still in the loop. And the other great news, he is just as curious to BED with us when he will be free. That is something we would all agree to love.
Till our next Lala.
You know you love it!
