Condominium Purchase: Sofia Bellevue

Spotted! I just bought my most adult purchase, and it’s not what you’re thinking. It’s not a dildo! It’s a condo!. Some months ago, we blogged about Sofia Bellevue, the condo that I will buy. It is now coming true! It’s at the 4th floor, just perfect. Now you can all go to my place! Let’s party! We can watch the people swimming, since my unit has the view of the pool! According to marketing, it will be done by December this year and I can move in by Q1 of next year. You are all invited to crash.

American Idol 8: Adam Lambert Backlush na Draga

OMFG! Adam Lambert is Gay?! We just can't believe it! For he is such a cuite...

Well, not really. We knew all along! Our Gaydar powers is supreme and uncanny. We detected that Adam Lambert is a drag queen goddess long before his pictures surfaced on the webbie.

But surely, we can see that Adam loves to kiss. Give us some of that... But not that much...

That purple hair is crazy! But we still love you Adam! Go bakla, mag-landi ka pa!

But it is undeniable that Adam Lambert has a great voice. I am so addicted to his rendition of "Tracks of my Tears", originally by Smokey Robinson. Watch this youtube clip below to see what i mean...

You know you love it!

Unimart Wrong Spelling

Spotted! Wrong Spelling in Unimart, Greenhills. I cannot believe that this grocery for the elite Chinese of GH can tolerate such baloney! I do not think you need an MBA just to spell comforter! Such bumbilya!!

Prada by M

M bought another Prada kikay-kit. This one is from Singapore, purchased in Paragon for PHP 6000. A bargain for real, since its PHP 9000 at Greenbelt. A move to overhaul all the stuff inside her bags into Prada, Gucci and Hermes. We are certainly loving it!

You know you envy it!

Louis Vuitton by Anne

Anne bought this Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 Damier with charm in Hong Kong for her Mom. Cost of LV bag plus the charm = PHP 52,000. Needless to say, Anne's mom was ecstatic. Pero efekera yang baklang yan, kunwari hiniram niya sa vamsicle pero nirampa nung sabado sa greenbelt. Ayun kinabog ang mga becky at merlat. haha...

You know you envy it!

Lala Nights: Ristorante Pia y Damaso

M, Anne, Vina and I went to Greenbelt 5 for Saturday's Lala Nights. We're so sad that Ferl, Ciege and L cannot be there. L was sick and the two had to attend to family matters.

After window shopping and rummaging through Adora, we then decided to try Ristorante Pia y Damaso. Their menu comprises of Spanish-Italian dishes with a Filipino Twist. The restaurant is located at the 3rd floor of Greenbelt 5.

The ambiance of Damaso is cozy with its perfect subdued lighting, we were seated at the reserved area, as we started to pick a course. I noticed the nice upholstery of the sofa, so i took a picture of it, as well as the chandelier gleaming above our table. These details add more aura to the place. It certainly brings a feel of opulence.

So we ordered our chosen delight, as the waiters become more gracious and nice. I would've taken snapshots of the menu but i forget, well, next time.

Anywho, it took like 30mins for the food to arrive. Quite standard waiting time for restaurants in Manila. So while waiting, we made chica galore.

Anne was the first to get her order, she got this Pork Capers plate with lemon and vegetables. Well, she did not like it at all. She said it was bland. She even requested soy sauce. Though, I did kind of liked it when i got a taste.

I ordered this Tinapa Pasta with Basil to share. We loved it, you should order this when you eat at Damaso. We recommend this dish.

M ordered this one. Ox tongue or Lengua Adobo. But it kind of tastes like Mechado. Though its super nice. We recommend you order this too, it also comes with rice.

Vina ordered this Chicken Pastel. She did not like her order. As with Anne, she thought it was bland and lacked flavor. I like the taste though, but the Chicken Pastel downer, i must say, is it being saturated with green peas.

I ordered this Pork Rolls to share and we all loved it. The sauce was like wasabi-soy sauce with Chili (kind of looks like puke though). It would just be ordinary pork rolls without that sauce. A must try.

Finally, I ordered Chicken in Sherry Pimento as my main course. We all loved it except for Vina, she said its too salty. I loved it though and the sauce is like Chili Asado.

And for dessert, we ordered this hazelnut cake to share. I just forgot the exact name of this cake, but we loved it. Its so chocolatey rich. This cake costs PHP 160.

Damaso offers big servings so we are all full at the end of our meal. Our bill with all charges amounted to PHP 2,300. It was all worth it for me and M, except for the two. Anne even had some spillage on the floor below. Here is the proof of her pigging out. haha...

Truevali Origins

It's now going to be three months since we started this blog, yet i feel we have not explained the origins of this blog site. So while I am eating my scrumptious lunch, i shall be taking time to explain to all of you the origins of Truevali. It was quite an odd story, really.

We were coming back from our quarterly weekender in Tagaytay. We were having fun inside M's car as we were all talking in Backlese.

Now to backtrack, we always say "yes" in Backlese the longest way, as "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow". So if you need to say "yes" to anything, you would instead say, "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow". I know it's silly, but its our way of having small fun.

So as were driving along Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, we saw the tarpaulins of Ayala Land for their mega-project, Nuvali. So it hit me, we need to economize and shorten our means of saying "yes". Vwallahh! Truevali was born!

TRUE + nuVALI = TRUEVALI!

So one day in December, as I am bored out of my mind, I created gmail addresses for all my friends and signed up for blogger. And what name would be more apt than Truevali - a blog about our life experiences and our move to say "yes" to all these years of friendship.

We have also decided to be somewhat anonymous in this blog, since we do not want fame, nor glory or power. Though, that would be a plus and L would love that. Yet, we would always own what we write here, even if anonymity has its advantages. This is our lives anyway.

You may read numerous things about our friendship here, some things we fancy, some things we stumble upon, some humor and sometimes, posts about wise observations in our society. We are successful Manila Gay Socialites, living balanced and respectful lives. We are Truevali and thanks for reading.

You know you now understand us!

Heller Providence Rhode Island

Heller Bridgewater, Guagua, Clinton and Seattle! Heller Providence Rhode Island! I am just stoked to see that place in our sitemeter stats. Since in backlese, we call people from the country or the probinsyanos as "providence rhode island"! haha..

You know you need to keep on reading!

OMFG Bryanboy is Chikatime?

I just stumbled upon this. We just CAN'T believe it! Bryanboy is Chikatime? This is like if Gossip Girl's true identity is revealed. Truly a shock wave that is sending the Manila blogosphere into disbelief.

If you can remember chikatime, the blog that sent all of us clicking our mouse away till we got bags under our eyes. All just being wanton for chika about the fall of Manila's High Society - cavorting, back-stabbing, snorting silver dust in Embassy, The Pen and even Boracay. This blog, now dead, was even more popular than The Not So Talented Mr. Montano of Brian Gorrell.

Dona Victorina exposed this shocker, Chuvaness declared its so true, Bryanboy has no comment as the other bloggers dipped their keystrokes into the scandal.

If true, one could surmise the course of action BB must take to cover his tracks to expose such grim realities of the rich and filthy rich. Like Amelie, he did what he can as cowardly as it seems. What can one do if you're fighting families that can easily destroy lives with just one call to their henchmen.

But we still love Bryanboy, even if his hilarious entries are now replaced with bits of his past glory. And we still love chika.

You know you need a retouch!

Thanks Bryanboy for your fab vopisi shot.
