Malcolm's Place: Coffee Crunch Cake Labels: cakes, drinks, food | 0 comments»
Can I just say Royal Rumble Lala Aunor? I know, right. But after an eventful business dinner, I just felt the need to eat something sweet. So I went to Malcolm's Place, located at the ground floor commercial strip of the Fairways Tower in Bonifacio Global City, to order something sweet. So I ordered the Coffee Crunch Cake, and for the drinks, I should have ordered the Coffee Crunch Latte but they were out, so I took my chances with a Mango Smoothie. They also gave me some pica as I wait for my order. Again, talk about Royal Gustatory Rumble?! But it was good, the cake was superb, caramely and crunchy, something to take away that lingering stress. Truevali recommends you sample this cake too.
You know you love it!

Malcolm's Place is a casual dining restaurant with wagyu dishes as specialty. Their menu includes a fusion of American, Continental, and Mediterranean cuisine. See menu via Munch Punch!

Jozu Kin @ Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City Labels: food | 1 comments»
You know you love it!Two things I love to do at night is to jog around the neighborhood to alleviate the clingy adipose tissue so I may forever wear that lovely slightly skinny jeans and to eat healthy ala carte at some restaurant, more so if it offers authentic Japanese food. So dining at Jozu Kin at Burgos Circle in Bonifacio Global City hit my beloved things to do amidst the cold Chrismassy, loveless night. See what we ordered after the jump...
As usual we ordered some sushi, and since your Seafood-Allergic Ate ferl is with us that night, we only ordered the only sushi in the menu that does not include an Angelina-Jolie-lips-inducing-allergen, which is their California Maki.Yum, yum. We had two ordered of these. We must say that the presentation of the sushi and the plating is very posh indeeed. Too bad for upon the maki's serving, the gurls can't help but to show their innate construction-worker-appetite after that long and tiring walk around BGC.
We also ordered some Crispy noodles for the carbo overload. We must note that we loved the plating and more so its taste. It definitely tasted better than the ones in North Park.Below is the appetizer which will be served to you as you wait for your order.
For my own meal, I got the Chicken Terriyaki. I failed to take pictures of the gurls order since we made lala soon after the personal orders arrived.
And for everyone, Green Mango Shake! Lovely!
I must commend also the interior designer of Jozu Kin. The ambiance was subdued, masculine with a perfect overhead lighting. These are the best seats in the house.
Jozu Kin is located along Burgos Circle in Forbes Town Center Side of the commercial strip in Bonifacio Global City. Truevali recommends you dine here too.

We shall conquer the world!

Sushi Platter @ Tanabe Labels: food | 0 comments»
You know you love it!Ate at Tanabe last night with my client. I love this Malate branch of Tanabe, besides the fact that the Japanese food here is so authentic, you also get to eat along with kawaii Japanese foreigners. Geesh, I'm such a whore. Anyhow, I ordered the sushi platter. Yum! See more after the jump...
The ambiance of Tanabe is perfect for a Japanese food trip experience. There are sushi chefs who prepare the sushi right in front of you. The seafood is catered fresh right in front of your eyes. There are also items in the table like this set below that may pique your interest. Its for the Kikoman sauce and wasabi, pepper and some tooth picks. We have a set exactly like that at home but its only for display in the cupboard, just sharing.
Now, I ordered the sushi platter. Mind you, I was not able to eat them all. I ate them American style with wasabi mayo. I love it. But those salmon eggs made me nauseous, as the eggs popped inside my mouth. Not that i am unfamiliar with something popping inside my mouth, but you know those eggs are just so slimy. Anyhow, see some pictures I took of the sushi platter.
This platter is priced between PHP 700-800, sorry that I forget to note. I loved the Tanabe restaurant. So, Truevali recommends you dine here too.

See menu at Munchpunch!

You know you're a Gleek!
I just love this diva-off episode of Glee. Curt and Rachel out-sang each other to claim the lead role for their sectionals entry. I wished Chris Colfer won for the gays. o'well Lea Michele is still the drag of the queens. Hear for yourself via these youtube videos after the jump. Who is a better diva?
Chris Colfer Version of Defying Gravity by Wicked!
Truevali acknowledge that we do NOT own this music. This has been uploaded strictly for promotional purposes and we STRONGLY recommend that you buy it on iTUNES when It is released!!
